New! Saturday evening snowshoe tours followed by a fondue dinner.

This is a really unique experience, and definitely one you ought to try at least once! Join Crystal for a snowshoe tour into the alpine wilderness, followed by a delicious fondue dinner.

You’ll meet in the rental shop at 3:15, get fitted for your snowshoes, and board the Quicksilver lift right at 4 p.m. for a quick lift to start your snowshoe adventure.  You’ll then snowshoe up into Silver Basin, part of Crystal Mountain’s South Backcountry, and absolutely one of the most beautiful places anywhere!  (Can you tell we like it?!) There, you’ll enjoy hors d’oeuvres at a natural ice bar.

Afterwards, you’ll snowshoe back down to the base area, where you’ll enjoy a wonderful fondue dinner. 

The last time we did this tour, we saw a grey fox on the way back down.  Everyone’s gone from the ski slopes, so it’s wonderfully quiet and the wildlife starts to come out.  Magical.
