Mt. Rainier Gondola Scenic Rides
CRYSTAL’S MT. RAINIER GONDOLA IS NOW CLOSED FOR FALL 2012. It will re-open for scenic rides once the snow flies. Click here for information about winter Mt. Rainier Gondola rides.
This is a must do for visitors to Washington state and everyone else! You’ll be rewarded at the top with one of the best views of Mt. Rainier anywhere! And, during your 9-minute ride, you can view wildlife meadows, listen to babbling mountain streams, or keep an eye out for elk grazing or fox scurrying after rabbits.
Crystal’s new Mt. Rainier Gondola opened January 1, 2011 and it’s one of the most exciting things to happen here in years. Now everyone—grandmothers, hikers, babies in strollers—can experience a view that makes you feel like you’re on top of the world.
Lunch at the Summit House is offered daily, and the food matches the view. (It’s really that good!) Or, for a unique experience, Summit Dinners are offered on Friday and Saturday nights in the summer and September, and on Saturday nights in the winter.
