RAINIER VIEW TRAIL AT THE TOP OF CORRAL PASS
Some prefer the Noble Knob trail in this same vicinity, and its wildflowers are amazing. But we still love the Rainier View Trail even after all these years. It’s probably the fact that we can take a fairly easy hike (just about 1.5 miles each way) and then sit on some huge boulders looking across at Mt. Rainier. We usually bring a bottle of wine, some cheese and bread and just relax.
To get to this trail, you’ll take a gravel road for about 6 miles, so most prefer having an SUV or truck. (Leave the brand new Porsche at home.)
