For years, we’ve been telling our non-skier guests, family and friends about how awesome the view is from Crystal’s summit.  Well now, with the new Mt. Rainier Gondola, everyone can experience the incredible views.  Mt. Rainier is so close that it feels like you can reach out and touch the summit, but turn around, and you’ll get 360-degree views of all the Cascades.  Mt. Baker, Mt. Adams, Mt. St. Helens.  Literally the view will leave you breathless.

You’ll travel almost 2500 vertical feet in less than 10 minutes, across a winter wonderland.  Each gondola cabin only carries 8 passengers, so everyone gets a wonderful view.  (Make sure to bring your camera.)

At the summit, you can enjoy a gourmet lunch every day in the winter—or make reservations for Summit Dinners (on Saturday nights in the winter) or First Tracks Breakfasts (on Saturdays and Sundays). You can also ride the Gondola to apres ski on Saturdays throughout the winter.  (Check Crystal’s website for their expanded schedule during holiday periods.) 

The Gondola will be running in the spring, summer and fall as well!
