Larry Schick, the self-proclaimed Pubah of Powder, issued a Powder Alert today!  That’s great news for all Pacific Northwest skiers, as he’s predicting snow accumulations of a minimum of 2-3 feet (and possibly as much as 3-5 feet) in the next 9-10 days!

Hip, hip, hooray!

In case you missed it in September (with all our gorgeous weather), NOAA officially issued a La Nina advisory on September 8, 2011.

Look for an active winter ahead, with above average snowfall in the Cascades.  Last year was an awesome La Nina, with over 600 inches falling at Crystal! 

We’re looking forward to lots of winter white.  Sounds like you should plan a winter trip now:)
