DON'T GET STUCK IN TOWN FOR MEMORIAL DAY.
You know there's no way you want to spend the 3-day weekend in town -- working around the house or doing chores! So why not come and stay with us instead?!

We're just 90 minutes from Seattle with no passes to cross! Plus you can leave the gas-guzzling RV and camping gear behind.

Grab your hiking boots, fishing pole and swim toys. We'll provide everything else for the perfect Memorial Day vacation -- a heated pool and hot tub, a large recreation field with volleyball, croquet and horseshoes, a recreation lodge with ping pong and foosball, rental bikes, miles of hiking trails from your door, and activities every evening to make the weekend even more fun!

  • On Friday night, we'll kick off the weekend with karaoke! We have tons of songs for both adults and children, and we've had kids as young as 2 get up and sing!
  • On Saturday night, join us in the evening for a bonfire, complete with s'mores of course!
  • On Sunday evening, we'll have our annual Memorial Day barbecue. The food is delicious and, the best part is, you don't have to do any of the work. We always have lots of fruit and salads in addition to the traditional barbecue items, and we even bring out salmon burgers that are just fabulous. After the barbecue, we'll have another bonfire with s'mores. (Can you ever get enough?)

NEED A GETAWAY NOW?
We're open every day of the year, and spring is a great time to visit. It's quiet, so it's the perfect time for just relaxing, but there are lots of things to do if you can pull yourself away from your fireplace and the heated pool and hot tub:

  • The lower elevation hiking trails are largely melted out, so all you need is hiking boots. Some of our favorite hikes right now are the hike to Goat Falls from Alta Crystal Resort (a beautiful waterfall tucked behind picturesque old cabins), our loop trail, the trail to Greenwater Lakes (two beautiful lakes surrounded by alpine peaks) and the Palisades trail (a steep trail up to the Palisades cliffs with beautiful views of the White River valley).
  • There's still lots of snow up at Crystal, so the snowshoeing is still phenomenal. Our favorite snowshoe routes are the Norse Peak Trail, the Bullion Basin Trail and the snowshoe up to Silver Basin. You'll love any of these three!
  • There are lots of places to mountain bike this spring, and we have bike rentals right here. Beginning and intermediate riders will love the trails around Buck Creek (just a mile from here) while advanced riders can check out the Skookum Flats Trail, rated one of Washington's best mountain bike trails!
  • The spring melt is starting slowly, and as it accelerates so will the water over Skookum Falls and Snoquera Falls! Is there anything more romantic than hiking to a waterfall?
