We're very proud to be a small part of this effort, and have put together special rates for climbers and their supporters and families.

Our small resort is just outside the Sunrise entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park, about 6 miles from the turnoff to the White River Campground, the starting point for this climb. We're tucked in the national forest, with miles and miles of hiking and biking trails from your door.

We have activities every evening during summer months -- bonfires with s'mores, barbecues, Wilderness BINGO, Mt. Rainier programs, interpretive hikes, etc. We have a large recreation field with a volleyball court and horseshoes, and we have lots of outdoor "toys" you're welcome to borrow -- soccer balls, croquet, badminton, etc.

We are this area's only accommodations that are AAA-approved, and guests tell us we have the nicest accommodations anywhere around Mt. Rainier. We are the only ones with both a hot tub and heated pool (perfect for relaxing at the end of the day) and all accommodations are newly renovated, with small fully equipped kitchens, fireplaces, television, DVD players, VCRs, etc.

So you can come up a few days early or stay a few days after the climb! This is a great opportunity for climbers to do some early acclimatizing, or a chance to recuperate afterwards -- and for families to have a wonderful and memorable vacation.
