Early Summer Savings:  June 23-July 13, 2017

Summer is here!  Warm temperatures.  Long days.  And Mt. Rainier out in all its glory.

Explore Mt. Rainier National Park.   Hike the Glacier Basin Trail in the Sunrise area, or climb up to Crystal Lakes.  Visit 1000 year old trees and the Park's largest volume waterfall in the Ohanapecosh area.  Go up to Chinook Pass and Tipsoo Lake for incredible views.  Drive through Stevens Canyon on your way to Paradise.

Crystal Mountain is now open daily.  Take the Mt. Rainier Gondola to 360-degree views of Mt. Rainier and all the Cascades that will take your breath away.  Go on a horseback ride.  Play disc golf, or just go on an interpretive hike with a ranger.  You can even dine at the Summit House, Washington's highest restaurant.

The road to the very top of Sunrise opens June 30.  Sunrise is the highest drivable point in the Park, with Mt. Rainier's most panoramic views.  It's gorgeous any time of day, but for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, get up (really) early and watch the sunrise.

And there's more.  We're tucked in the national forest, so you could literally hike to Mexico from here without moving your car.  (But we can recommend lots of shorter hikes too.)   Explore incredible mountain biking trails.  Go up to Suntop Lookout.  Visit old-growth trees in Federation Forest.  Climb up the Palisades cliffs.   Swim in our pool or soak in our hot tub.  Go on a scavenger hunt.  Or roast s'mores at a bonfire under the stars.
