A vacation is indeed much more than a place to stay, which is why we provide guests with the range of amenities that deliver the utmost in comfort, convenience, and fun. In fact, we are Crystal’s only lodging with both a hot tub and pool, and all our accommodations are “preferred”—with fireplaces and so much more.
Nothing feels better at the end of a long day exploring than water. We are Crystal’s only lodging with both a heated pool and hot tub. Open year-round, our pool is heated to 90 degrees in the winter, and there’s nothing more magical than swimming when it’s snowing.
For your convenience, we offer a Shuttle Van transporting guests safely to and from Crystal Mountain Resort for daytime skiing and boarding or summertime activities.
To supplement your stay, we have a gift shop with over 700 movies to rent, the best selection of books in the White River Valley, fleeces, hats, gloves, and t-shirts. We also have hand warmers, flashlights, Duraflames, health & beauty supplies, snacks, and beverages.
In the summer, you can play volleyball, badminton, and horseshoes on our large recreation field or ask to borrow soccer balls, frisbees, or softball equipment. We also have a practice disc golf basket.
And as soon as it snows, it turns into a snow playfield, with snow-people and snow forts magically appearing. We also have a small snowmaker, so, when possible, we use it to create a pretty good sledding hill.
This area is renowned for its gorgeous snowshoeing acreage in the winter season, so we have snowshoes available for rent. From Alta Crystal Resort, there are three main trail options, and there is also snowshoeing along the White River, through the Silver Springs Campground. Or snowshoe from the top of the Mt. Rainier Gondola at Crystal Mountain, along the ridgeline out towards Snorting Elk Bowl, and even further towards Morning Glory Bowl.
Our legendary summer barbecues are a lot more than just hamburgers and hot dogs. Along with those classics, you will also be savoring Wild Alaska salmon burgers, bratwurst, and veggie burgers, plus salad, roasted potatoes, chips with guacamole and salsa, dessert, strawberries, blueberries, watermelon, and summer lemonade! Grab some wine or beer from our store and enjoy it around the campfire. We usually have barbecues on Thursdays and Sundays* throughout the summer (late June through Labor Day).
